Compliance
@ tb.lx
Compliance as an Integral part of tb.lx
The tb.lx Compliance area follows both Daimler Truck and Portuguese guidelines on different topics to ensure that we meet legal requirements, prevent misconduct and compliance risks and manage them with standardized systems. We believe that only those who act responsibly will be successful in the long term.
Preventing and tackling corruption are key aspects of our compliance work which is an important lever for ensuring legal certainty and strengthening trust in our company and our products and services. Therefore, Compliance is strongly anchored in Daimler Truck and tb.lx’s day-to-day business: in our strategy, our work processes and our culture.
In order to continuously raise awareness of the significance of anti-corruption among our employees, we follow various training and communication activities launched by our parent company Daimler Truck.
Our Daimler Truck Code of Conduct: Guideline to doing the right thing. Responsible actions are essential to success.
The only way for us as a company to set an example on a global scale is to act in a responsible manner at local level. That’s why the Daimler Truck Code of Conduct provides tb.lx with guidance for our actions. This policy, to which employees from various parts of the world and from different areas of the company have contributed, clearly sets out rules and principles to be followed to make sure we are doing the right thing.
-
Our Daimler Truck Code of Conduct defines our common understanding of how we behave in the right way and is a central part of our corporate culture. Our goal: At Daimler Truck, we are incorporating its content in our day-to-day-work as matter of course.
-
It provides us with guidance for our behavior; it sets out clearly, which rules apply to everyone and which principles we follow. In short, it helps us to make the right decisions.
-
Our four “Purpose Principles” are the heart of our Daimler Truck Code of Conduct. They sum up how we approach our work and are the basis for the actions of our employees:
- We start with listening.
- We build to solve.
- We lead with the long view.
- We progress together.
-
Only those who act responsibly will be successful in the long term.
-
Every one of us has a responsibility – for our customers, our colleagues, society, for all who keep the world moving – and for ourselves.
-
That is why we aim to do the right thing. Everywhere, everyday.

SpeakUp: The Daimler Truck Whistleblowing System
Our central whistleblowing system SpeakUp @ Daimler Truck is an important element of good corporate governance and an integral part of our Compliance Management System within the entire Daimler Truck Group. Complying with rules and standards is the only way we can avoid causing damage to our employees, our company and our business partners. Compliance with the law, internal regulations and other regulations has highest priority for us at the Daimler Truck Group. Therefore, misconduct must be identified and openly addressed as early as possible. If we identify misconduct or potential rule violations, we do not hesitate to address it directly. SpeakUp @ Daimler Truck enables employees as well as external third parties worldwide to report misconduct and potential rule violations in a protected manner.
Free expression of opinion and criticism is essential to prevent misconduct. That is why the Daimler Truck whistleblowing system is available for employees and third parties in cases where the possibility of dialog reaches its limits or potential misconduct is observed.
